Toyota Toyoace is a highly durable and reliable light duty to medium duty cab-over truck first introduced in September 1954.It offered a similar resemblance with his identical twin Toyota Dyna. The only different existed between these twins is that the Dyna had specifically been designed to cater the heavy-duty payload capacity.

 

This solid built durable truck consisted of eight different generations. The first generation was a singleton semi cab over truck. It comprised of an inline four cylinders 1.0 liters fuel engine. It had an initial name of Toyopet SKB Light Truck which later on changed to Toyoace in the year 1956. It was a kind of simple and easy to drive lightweight truck with a flat windshield and netted rope seats.

 

The second generation Toyoace was introduced on 16th March 1959. It also retained the similar semi cab over design engine. This version was presented with more seating capacity as compared to the previous generation.

 

The present is the eight generation Toyoace model features the powerful hybrid driving system for customers. It offers the muscular and robust exterior design with comfortable seating interior and rear back open trunk for a huge amount of commercial and industrial cargo delivery.

 

The term Toyoace is a combination of two words “Toyota and Ace” where ace means the master.
